Unemployment Insurance Scheme
ILOE stands for “Unemployment Insurance Scheme” in the UAE, which was implemented through Federal Decree Law No. 13 of 2022. This scheme provides financial security for employees who have lost their jobs due to reasons other than disciplinary action or resignation until they find a new job.
Emiratis and residents working in the federal government and private sector are eligible to subscribe to the scheme. Eligible employees can receive a cash compensation of 60% of their average basic salary in the last six months prior to job loss, for up to three months if they have been subscribed to the scheme for at least 12 consecutive months.

The monthly subscription fee
Category A employees
For basic salary of AED 16,000 or below
Pay 5 AED+VAT/month
Category B employees
For basic salary above AED 16,000
Pay 10 AED+VAT/month
